Create drama in your art by painting low-horizon landscapes against the backdrop of thunderheads, evening skies, and giant cumulus clouds.
Study color theory, color recipes, brushwork, composition, and safe studio practices. Learn to organize your palette to create depth in color and tone. All of us have seen beautiful skies and many of us have taken shots of cloud formations that are dramatic and awe inspiring. We will use those references to capture the sublime in nature on our canvases. Be ready to paint every week and take advantage of class demonstrations and instruction.
