Description:

Like the painters who came before photography, we will focus on painting what we see: still life, figures, the books on the coffee table, the person reading them on the couch, or the view out the window on a rainy day. We’ll explore the principles of design, including how to choose and place your center of focus, value range, and color choices. The primary medium is oil paint, but you may also work in acrylic or watercolor.
