Description:

This playful, hands-on class introduces young artists to the basic elements of artistic creation and creativity! Lessons will focus on the elements and principles of art (line, shape, form, movement, balance, etc.) followed by engaging projects to practice applying the concepts. Each week, the projects will involve a new medium or technique to learn and practice, including pen, watercolor, acrylic paint, pastel, and air-dry clay. At the end of this 12-week class, students will have built a stock of knowledge and skills to take into any art class in their future!

This class is perfect for sparking imagination and building artistic confidence in young artists!
