Alpha Moquin
Instructor, Office Assistant, Website Design
Alpha has been a student of the arts for many years, particularly enjoying watercolor, oil paint, crochet, and ceramics. In 2023, Alpha joined VAI as a student in the ceramics studio with the generosity of the work-exchange program. She was hired to be the Office Assistant in 2025 and expanded her role to include VAI’s marketing and website design. She loves helping the studio and its community grow!
Working with children for many years, including as a martial arts instructor, Alpha developed a love for teaching. With her expertise in many art mediums, she started instructing kids classes at VAI in 2026.
In her free time, Alpha enjoys folk dancing, reading novels, walks with family, and writing stories. She also loves learning new mediums (at VAI!) and, of course, finding time to work on her own art.
