Yami Muñiz
Event Operations & Finance
Yami Muñiz brings over a decade of experience in television production, with a background rooted in Puerto Rico and work spanning major networks including NBCUniversal/Telemundo, Univision, MTV, Nickelodeon, and The Discovery Channel. She has served as a bilingual producer, production coordinator, and production manager, with expertise in Spanish/English content, team leadership, budgeting, logistics, and client relations.
At the Visual Art Institute, Yami works in event operations and finance, where she coordinates in-house and off-site programs, manages logistics, supports clients and volunteers, and ensures events run smoothly from planning through execution. She also oversees key financial processes, including invoicing, QuickBooks, and account reconciliation, helping maintain accuracy and efficiency across the organization.
Her combined experience in production, operations, and finance allows her to bring a highly organized, adaptable, and service-driven approach to supporting the institute’s programs and community.
