Elise O.

Elise was a teenage student at Visual Art Institute, who graduated from Timpview High School. She won an Award of Excellence for her figure drawing Folded Figure A at the Springville Art Museum All-State High School Art Show in 2008. Elise was awarded several scholarships and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art at Brigham Young University, graduating in 2014. She has exhibited and sold her work in many Utah galleries, showing in solo and group shows across the state. She has also taught community workshops for Granary Art Center in Ephraim, Utah. Elise is part of a very creative family, and in 2018, she exhibited a mixed media collection of still life pieces with her three artist sisters-in-law at the Rio Gallery in Salt Lake City. Her husband Zachary Ostraff is a writer and teaches at Texas Tech University. They currently live a creative life together in Lubbock, Texas.
