Ceramics - $299

Students will use electric wheels to begin their pieces, hand-sculpt to give it details, and after we've fired them in the kiln, they will glaze their masterpieces. Instructor: Heidi Somsen. 12 weeks only. Materials included.

This works like a punch card. You can attend any of our adult classes for only $10 an hour with the Flex Pass. This works great for busy schedules or adults interested in trying several classes.

Creature Design 3D Modeling- $279

Students will design fantastic creatures and construct 3D models to complete their designs. Students will explore a variety of sculpting techniques and materials including clay, paper, plastic, fabric, and more. Instructor: Clint Whiting. 14 weeks only.

"Heroes and Villains" Costume Illustration - $299

​Students will learn to design and illustrate fantastic clothing and apparel for comic book-style heroes and villains, in a fashion illustration format. This class will experiment with a variety of traditional media, as well as include instruction on how to scan, clean up, add to, and enhance traditional paintings in Adobe Photoshop. This is a great course for children who have never taken art classes before. Children will learn basic art terminology and practice new techniques with a variety of mediums, including pastels, acrylic paints, watercolor, colored pencils, and more. Instructor: Shelley Young. Cartooning - $289
Children will earn the basics of cartooning focusing on the action line, gesture, expression, features, colors, textures, and values. Kids will tap into their imaginations by coming up with names and titles for their own comic masterpieces. Instructor: Shelley Young. Materials included.

 

 

WEDNESDAYS -- 4:30 - 6:00

Interactive Mixed Media Sculpt. - $235

Students will use found objects to create intricate sculpted characters with moving parts. They will experiment with different materials and learn how to turn a small drawing into an intricate 3D character. Instructor: Jan Voitehovich. Materials included. 12 weeks only (begins January 25).

Ceramics - $289

Kids will get down and dirty in this class! They will be throwing on electric wheels, and also do some hand-sculpting. After pieces are fired in our kiln, students will glaze their own pieces. Instructor: Heidi Somsen and Gwen Juvenal. Materials included.
