Join us for Friends of Friends -- an exhibition of twenty local, national, and international artists working on and with paper. Ten artists were initially invited to participate and those ten were each asked to invite one other artist -- the result being an experiment of artist as curator and an example of the interconnection between artists and their peers, and hot it influences their work.

Admission is FREE and open to the public
Location: Visual Art Institute, 1838 S. 1500 E. SLC, UT 84105

Gallery Goings On:GARFO • Catalyst Magazine highlights the Visual Art Institutes' recent progress with the Garfo Art Center at the old Garfield schoolhouse. "This building has so much history, but not many people know what's going on inside of it now," says Despain. "The GARFO Gallery is going to invite community members inside to meet the teachers, artists, and students here, and explore our space," adds Riches.
